After 35 years of remarkable global success with the classic NSK EX handpiece series, NSK has evolved to meet modern demands with the introduction of the NSK FX Handpiece Series—a modernization of the EX series. While maintaining the traditional NSK simple design, functional reliability, durability, and cost-effectiveness, the FX series has been upgraded with an integrated design that responds to contemporary needs.
The extra slim head and body design of the FX series significantly enhances both direct and indirect visibility to the operational field, including better access to difficult areas in the oral cavity.
Cartridges in some FX models (FX25 / FX25m / FX23) are easily replaceable in surgery using the accessory tools provided, reducing service costs and downtime.
The prophylaxis handpiece in the FX series (FX57 / FX57m) features the NSK Paste Defence System, which prevents debris from entering the handpiece. Additionally, the rotor is coated with NSK DLC to prevent breakage caused by surface abrasions from polishing paste, enhancing the durability of the handpiece.
The Clean Head System, available in several FX models (FX15 / FX15m / FX25 / FX25m / FX65 / FX65m), incorporates an anti-suck back mechanism that prevents blood and foreign matter from entering the head, extending the lifespan of the ball bearings and mechanical components.
The FX series features high-precision gears that operate quietly, reduce vibration, and offer exceptional durability for comfortable and efficient use.
NSK's original Push Button Chuck mechanism allows for easy, one-touch bur insertion and removal without the need for tools. The bur lock mechanism ensures that bur retention strength increases when high loads are applied, ensuring secure and safe performance.
