The NeoGen membrane with titanium reinforcement consists of three layers. The outer PTFE layer is soft-tissue-friendly and nearly impermeable to bacteria; the middle layer contains a strong, malleable titanium mesh; and the inner PTFE layer has an expanded texture for predictable hard-tissue integration. Together, these layers create an easy-to-handle membrane, providing reliable protection at the augmentation site.
NeoGen Titanium-Reinforced Membranes are placed beneath the oral mucosa to promote regenerative healing of bone defects. They are ideal for larger defects where a rigid membrane is required to protect against external forces or form a scaffold for bone growth. Examples include vertical ridge augmentations and large buccal defects.
The titanium mesh provides excellent resistance to external forces during the healing process.
The membrane’s textures and porosities are designed to facilitate soft and hard tissue integration, ensuring optimal results.
The membranes are delivered sterile and double-packed (box and foil). The contents inside the foil are sterile, and the membrane cannot be re-sterilized after use.
The soft-tissue side, marked with the word "UP" (cut from the titanium mesh), is positioned upwards in the packaging.
